In addition to serving Sustainable Development through its general operation, Newsphone Hellas also carries out targeted corporate responsibility actions, supporting the whole of the Greek society or individual communities and institutions of the Greek society.
The extremely low environmental impact of the Group’s companies allows us to free up resources that would otherwise be available for restoration, while the diversity of our activities has the pleasing side effect of enabling us to contribute to a wide range of social challenges.
More specifically, the Newsphone Hellas Group has over time:
- Provided its human resources, infrastructure and expertise to social initiatives such as the telethons and radiothons of The Smile of the Child, Love for the Child, and Unicef, as well as to the reforestation effort in the National Park of Mount Parnitha.
- Undertaken sponsorship actions, both in the field of Culture (music, theater, publications) and Sports, mainly focusing on athletes, clubs and events of an amateur and large-scale nature.
- Supported local, and particularly island, communities, both through direct service initiatives and by making Levante Ferries vessels available to respond to emergency incidents and needs.
